Having sculpted four Past Grand Masters, I was commissioned to design and sculpt a major piece for the entrance hall at Freemasons’ Hall. The memorial features a bronze statue of St. Andrew, standing in front of a bronze bas-relief wall panel depicting figures from different nations and various occupations.
The final piece of the commission was a life-size oil painting of King George VI, himself a Past Grand Master. The painting hangs on the landing of the main staircase and is the first thing the eye is drawn to when entering the building.
